College is Real holds annual year end Recognition Dinner. All students, families and mentors are invited to attend. More than 100 people attend including most of the families. At the events, CIR gives out awards to students who achieved the following for the prior school year: 4.0 or higher grade point average; 3.0-3.9 grade point average; Most Improved for those who increased their gpa during the second semester compared to the first semester; Outstanding senior (based upon academics and CIR participation); college scholarships.
